Famously known for her roles in film ‘Waar’ and ‘Jawani Phir Nahi Ani’, former actress Aisha Khan has also started watching hit Turkish series ‘Ertugrul’.

Taking to Instagram, she shared the poster of Hulya Darcan, who plays the role of Hayme Hatun (the mother of Ertugrul and wife of Kai tribe chief Suleman Shah) and said “Hyme Ana is by far our favourite character from Ertugrul.”

She further adds, “Hyme Ana is by far our favourite character from Ertugrul ’. Leadership, steadfastness love and loyalty depicted impeccably by this graceful lady. What a phenomenal PHENOMENAL actress!”

Turkish television series Resurrection: Ertugrul, known as the Muslim Games of Thrones, has become a major hit in Pakistan since the national broadcaster PTV began airing Urdu-dubbed episodes of the show in April. The series has also inspired Pakistan to erect statues of Ertugrul Ghazi in a residential area of Lahore.

Earlier, Aisha announced her decision of leaving the entertainment industry in a public post she uploaded on Instagram.

“With great pleasure and humility, I have decided to bid farewell to our wonderful media industry. I am bowing out with immense satisfaction and a lot of pride to move on to the next phase of my life,” the actress wrote while confirming her departure.
