Price of pure gold reduced by Rs400 per tola

The price of pure gold (24 karats) has decreased by Rs400 per tola in the Pakistani market on Friday, reported 24News HD TV channel.
According to the report, the total price of 24 karats pure gold has come down at Rs1,41,100 per tola after a decrease in price on Friday.
The price of 10-gram pure gold has also been reduced by Rs343 to Rs1,20,970 while the rate of 10 gram gold of 22 karats has been reached at Rs1,10,890.
On Friday, the Pakistani market also observed a decrease in prices of pure silver (24 karats) by Rs30 and the rate of it came down to Rs1520.
It is worth mentioning that a gold karat is 1/24 part, or 4.1667 per cent, of the whole, and the purity of a gold alloy is expressed as the number of these parts of gold it contains. Thus, an object that contains 16 parts gold and 8 parts alloying metal is 16-karat gold, and it is also called pure gold.
