The Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development & Management Company (FIEDMC) Board on Tuesday cancelled the plots owned by Farhat Shahzadi, also known as Farah Gogi, a close friend of the former first lady and wife of former prime minister Imran Khan, over violation of the construction rules, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Gogi had purchased two plots, each of five acres, in October 2021.

Plot numbers 255 and 256 had been purchased by her in the name of Al-Moeez Dairies.

But she failed to erect any structure on these plots.

But the new FIEDMC Board Chairman Rana Azhar Waqar made the announcement after approval by the Board.

Talking to the City 41, Waqar said it was an honour for him that he cancelled these plots. “No leniency will be shown to those violating the FIEDMC rules and regulations,” he said, adding, “Nobody has the right to own a plot if he or she fails to build any structure on it.”
