PM will monitor upcoming budget to provide relief to masses

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has decided to monitor the upcoming budget for the fiscal year 2023-24 in order to provide maximum relief to the public and foster economic development, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the sources, Shahbaz Sharif called an important meeting tomorrow (Thursday) to review the various recommendations.

Defense Minister Khawaja Asif will present the defense budget proposals to the Prime Minister.

In the meeting, a reduction in development expenditure and a recommendation to increase funds for public relief will be discussed.  

The sources said that the government will also review the suggestions to increase in salary and pension of government employees.
