PTI’s Mehmoodur Rasheed sent to jail on 14-day judicial remand

Rejecting police’s request for extension in the physical remand of PTI leader Mehmoodur Rasheed in the case of torching and vandalizing Lahore’s Shadman police station, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore on Wednesday sent the PTI leader to jail on a 14-day judicial remand, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Earlier, the police produced Mehmood in the court after the completion of two-day physical remand.

ATC judge Ijaz Ahmad Butter heard the case.

Making request for extension in PTI leader’s remand, Investigation Officer (IO) Inspector Shaukat said that the police had to conduct his Photogrammetric test.
