Two Pakistan Army soldiers embraced martyred in a gunbattle with terrorists in Kech District of Balochistan near border with Iran, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to a statement issued by the ISPR in Rawalpindi on Thursday, a group of terrorists targeted a post of the security forces in Singwan Area of District Kech in Balochistan along Pakistan’s border with Iran.

Since troops at the post were already alert and responded gallantly with all available weapons, a heavy fire exchange ensued between the soldiers and the terrorists.

The security forces personnel pushed back the terrorists successfully; however, during the intense exchange of fire two brave soldiers – Sepoy Hasnain Ishtiaq (aged 34 years and resident of District Dera Ghazi Khan) and Sepoy Inayatullah (aged 27 years and resident of District Jhal Magsi) embraced Shahadat while fighting bravely against the terrorists.

The security forces jawans later launched an immediate sanitization operation in the area and also established communication with the Iranian authorities across the border as well to deny terrorists any opportunity to escape.

The security forces, in step with the nation, remained determined to thwart attempts at sabotaging peace and stability all along the borders in Balochistan.
