Gold prices drop sharply in Pakistani, international markets

Gold prices witnessed a significant decline in both global and local markets, bringing relief to buyers after recent fluctuations.

According to market data, the price of gold in the international market fell by $44 per ounce, bringing it down to $4,494 per ounce.

The downward trend was also reflected in Pakistan's local bullion market, where the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs4,400. Following the reduction, the new price of one tola of gold stood at Rs471,762.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs3,773, reaching Rs404,459.

In contrast to gold, silver prices moved upward. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs46, taking it to Rs8,059 per tola.

Market analysts say precious metal prices continue to fluctuate in response to changing trends in international markets and investor sentiment.
