Seven killed in jeep accident near Fairy Meadows in Chilas

At least seven people, including six tourists and a driver, were killed in a tragic jeep accident near Fairy Meadows in Chilas, officials confirmed on Monday.

According to rescue sources, the accident involved a jeep bearing registration number GLT-3335 near the popular tourist destination of Fairy Meadows. The vehicle reportedly lost control, resulting in the fatal crash.

Officials said that among the deceased are driver Ziaullah and six tourists. Two of the tourists have been identified as Ali and Sajjad, both from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Four other victims are reported to be from Punjab, while efforts are ongoing to confirm their identities.

Rescue teams have launched an operation in the area to retrieve the bodies and gather further details about the incident. Authorities said that identification of the remaining victims is in progress.

Officials added that the cause of the accident is being investigated, while further updates will be shared as information is confirmed.
