Supreme Judicial Council dismisses PTI's complaint against CEC Sikandar Sultan Raja

The Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) on Monday dismissed a complaint filed by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) against Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja, according to official information conveyed to the party.

The council informed PTI leader Omar Ayub Khan of its decision after reviewing the complaint during a meeting held on February 11.

The complaint had been submitted by Omar Ayub in his capacity as PTI Secretary General. In the petition, the party had sought action against Sikandar Sultan Raja over allegations of rigging in the 2024 general elections.

Following its review of the matter, the Supreme Judicial Council decided to dismiss the complaint and formally communicated its decision to Omar Ayub.

The development marks the conclusion of the proceedings before the council regarding PTI's allegations against the Chief Election Commissioner in connection with the 2024 general elections.
