Worker dies after falling into factory’s oil tank in Faisalabad
A worker at a private factory lost his life after falling into an oil tank while cleaning it in Faisalabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
The factory is located on Satyana Road in Faisalabad. The deceased was later identified as Abdul Rehman, who was 42 years old.
Soon after receiving the report, a Rescue 1122 team rushed to the spot and retrieved the dead body from the oil tank.
Earlier in November 2025, at least 19 people were killed and several others injured as a result of a gas explosion at a factory near Faisalabad’s Malikpur area.
A statement by Rescue 1122 said the incident took place after the boiler of the factory exploded, causing the collapse of the building and nearby structures.
However, the rescue service later attributed the explosion to a gas leak, which was also confirmed in the statement issued by Faisalabad Commissioner Raja Jahangir Anwar’s office.
