Haris Rauf tests positive for coronavirus ahead of Australian series

Two days after successfully ending the Lahore Qalandars’ campaign by clinching the maiden title of the seventh edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL), fast bowler Haris Rauf Tuesday tested positive for coronavirus, as sources of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
As per PCB sources, Haris Rauf has isolated himself.
It is pertinent to mention that Haris Rauf was about to join the Test squad ahead of the Australian series, but when the pacer undergone the rapid antigen test (RAT) test, he turned out to be COVID positive.
It is relevant to note that in the historical home series against Australia, the first match will be kick start on March 4 from Pindi stadium, followed by the second test in Karachi’s National stadium and the third in Lahore’s Gaddafi stadium.
