Big increase in gold prices in Pakistan

The gold prices Wednesday saw a big increase in Pakistani markets as the dollar punched hard the Pakistan rupee in the inter-bank trading, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the All Pakistan jewellers Association, the price of 24-Karat gold reached Rs1,97,100 per tola after seeing an increase of Rs2,700.

Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 24-Karat gold reached Rs1,68,981 after seeing an increase of Rs2,315.

While the price of 10 grams of 22-Karat gold, used in making the jewellery, reached Rs1,54,900.

In the international market, the price of one ounce of gold prices increased by $27 and was being traded for $1,837.

The prices of silver in the country remained unchanged as the 24-Karat silver was being traded for Rs2,080 per tola and Rs1,783.26 per 10 grams.
