Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Wednesday appointed Sardar Ramesh Singh as Ambassador-at-large for the Kartarpur Corridor.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, Sardar Ramesh is the Central General Secretary of the ruling party, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N).

A notification of his appointment has also been issued here in which it is stated that Sardar Ramesh will serve in the position in an honourary capacity.
