Rakul Preet Singh to join Saif Ali Khan in ‘Race 4’?

Bollywood diva Rakul Preet Singh is reportedly set to join actor Saif Ali Khan for the upcoming film Race 4.

According to the Indian media reports, the fourth part of Ramesh Taurani's action-thriller will feature Saif Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh.

An Indian publication exclusively reported, “Rakul is set to team up with Saif Ali Khan for an exciting new project under Ramesh Taurani’s banner.”

The source revealed that the actress is excited to do something that she hasn’t done before. However, the official announcement from the makers is still awaited.

According to Indian media portal, Pinkvilla, “Saif Ali Khan has been discussing Race 4 with Ramesh Taurani for a while now, and the duo has finally come to the agreement of rebooting the franchise with Race 4. The actor has agreed in principle and is excited to get into the world of Race again.” 

Earlier, the writer Shiraz Ahmed of the film confirmed that it will be a ‘pure two-hero film’, featuring a face-off between Khan and Sidharth Malhotra.

Meanwhile, the director of the film was yet to be finalized.

Notably, the first two parts of the series ‘Race’ (2008) and ‘Race 2’ (2013), both directed by the filmmaking duo Abbas-Mustan, starred Khan, with Akshaye Khanna and John Abraham, respectively.

For Race 3, choreographer-turned-director Remo D’Souza came on board to helm the direction, whereas Salman Khan and Bobby Deol starred in the title.
