Bacha Khan Hockey Club wins Third COAS Inter Club Hockey C’ship

The Pakistan Army is taking all measures for the promotion of all games, including hockey, in the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

The final match was played between Bacha Khan Hockey Club Bannu and Rana Mujahid Ali Hockey Club Faisalabad in Lahore.

Bacha Khan Hockey Club, Bannu, won the title by scoring five goals to three.

A large number of former Olympians and hockey fans were present to watch the final of the championship.

At the conclusion of the match, General Officer Commanding (GOC) distributed the prizes among the winning players and encouraged them.

A former Olympian said that the future of hockey is bright in Pakistan after the introduction of the “talent hunt” programme.

He further said that these events will help to find new talent of hockey in Pakistan.
