It took eight years for Pakistani actor, television host, comedian, rapper and singer-songwriter Ahmad Ali Butt’s wife Fatima Khan to forgive him after Ahmad confessed to her his undying love for his ex-girlfriend.

During an engrossing interview at the set of GMP Shan-e-Suhoor, Ahmed Ali Butt and Fatima Khan revealed their love journey right from the start. 

Fatima Khan revealed that before being lovers, Ahmad and Fatima were the best of friends.

Great start!

However their story took a steep turn when they decided to involve their parents and the families finally decided to meet.

The day before the ‘big day’ when the families were to meet each other Ahmad thought that this is a great time to call Fatima and profess his undying love for his ex-girlfriend. 

Obviously because of Ahmad’s ‘great timing’ Fatima was shaken to the core which led to her ending everything.

Fatima was definitely very upset by Ahmad’s confession and decided to move abroad.

Well having feelings for an ex-girlfriend does not mean at all that Ahmad was not deeply in love with Fatima too. Right?

Ahmad’s mother went to meet Fatima herself and took the situation in her hands.

Ahmad who we are sure regretted his childish move kept asking for Fatima’s forgiveness with tears streaming down his face.

Would you believe it took Fatima eight long years to forgive Ahmad? But better be late than never!

Finally, the couple tied the knot in 2013.
