Government to block mobile phone SIMs of non-filers

The government has decided to block the mobile phone SIMs of non-filers.

The FBR has identified more than 506,000 persons who are eligible to file income tax returns

According to the bureau, these persons are not included in the active taxpayer list.

Mobile phone connections of non-filers can be disconnected at any time.
