Woman, two accomplices rob brother’s house in Lahore

Lahore police have arrested three suspects, including a woman accused of masterminding a house robbery at her brother’s residence in the Green Town area, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday.

The case was registered after the homeowner reported the robbery, prompting an investigation by local police.

The officials said the inquiry took a surprising turn when investigators found that a close relative of the victim was allegedly involved.

A spokesperson for DIG (Operations) Faisal Kamran said the suspect behaviour of a family member initially raised suspicion during the probe.

Further investigation revealed that the victim’s sister, identified as Anum Shehzadi, allegedly orchestrated the robbery with the help of two accomplices, Ashraf Ali and Qasim Ali.

Police said the woman allegedly called her associates to carry out the robbery at her brother’s house.

Acting on her identification, officers tracked down and arrested the two co-suspects, named as Ashraf Ali and Qasim Ali.

The officials said stolen valuables and the weapons used in the crime were recovered during the operation.

The suspects have been handed over to the investigation wing for further legal proceedings.
