Supreme Court (SC) full bench stands dissolved on Monday after getting an excuse from Justice Sajjad Ali Shah to hear the judges’ plot allotment case.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, head of the three-member bench of the SC Justice Umar Ata Bandial had referred the matter to the Chief Justice of SC after the excuse of Justice Sajjad.

On Monday, the SC full bench of three members heard the case of plot allotment to the judges and bureaucrats and the full bench Monday refused to hear the case of the allotments of plots to the judges and the bureaucrats.

During the hearing, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah asked the lawyers of the Federal Employees Housing Authority that they should inform the court about the ‘special people’ mentioned with the employees in the law.

The Authority lawyers replied that the SC had already identified certain individuals in its decision in 2009.

Federal Government Employees Housing Authority has appealed in the SC against the decision of the Islamabad High Court.
