A man shot his wife dead for ‘honour’ in Domeli area of Jhelum on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, the accused managed to escape from the scene after the crime.

A heavy police contingent reached the spot, and the process of collecting the evidence was underway.

The police took the body into custody and shifted it to a hospital for post-mortem.

The accused identified as Zafar Iqbal doubted the character of his wife.
