German MP Derya Turk calls on Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz

German Member Parliament Daria Turk met with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Maryam Nawaz welcomed the German MP in person. 

Bilateral relations, parliamentary cooperation and women empowerment were discussed in the meeting. 

They also discussed in detail education, the Youth Exchange Program, environment and clean energy projects. 

Maryam Nawaz thanked Germany for its solidarity during the floods. 

She said that education is the main pillar of the Punjab government's reform agenda. 

Maryam Nawaz said more than 10,000 Pakistani students are studying in German universities. 

Empowering women is a central component of the Punjab government's policy, Maryam Nawaz said.
