Pakistan has to have a good start in World Cup: Saleem Malik

Former national cricket team captain Saleem Malik has said that Pakistan has to have a good start in the World Cup, or there will be difficulty afterwards, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

“The World Cup is not an easy event for any team,” he said.

“Babar Azam is compared to Virat Kohli. He must have learned a lot from his mistakes,” he added.

“The national team has to show good performance in India. Naseem Shah will be missed, but now this thought has to be removed from the mind,” he emphasised.

He said that he could not make a prediction about Pakistan, India, South Africa and New Zealand.
