After KP, differences appear in PTI ranks in Punjab over nomination of opposition, deputy opposition leaders
After Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, controversy appears in PTI ranks in Punjab over the nomination of Punjab's new opposition and deputy opposition leaders as PTI Punjab Chief Organizer Alia Hamza and Hammad Azhar groups come face to face once again, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.
PTI Punjab chapter splits into two over the nominations of Opposition Leader Moin Qureshi and Deputy Opposition Leader Hafiz Farhat.
Sources said these two leaders were given positions on the recommendation of PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja.
However, PTI leader Alia Hamza group has demanded the withdrawal of the notification of both appointments as the first protest called by theses leaders outside Adiala Jail was failed.
Alia Hmaza said only 16 MPAs participated in the Punjab People's Assembly protest at Adiala Jail while PTI has 109 MPAs in the Punjab Assembly.
However PTI Secretary General Salman Raja has ignored the opinion of PTI Punjab Chief Organizer Alia Hamza regarding these appointments in Punjab.
