Naqvi urges fans to support Salman and Haris, not social media trolling

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has come forward in defense of national cricketers Salman Ali Agha and Haris Rauf, urging fans to show support rather than engage in social media trolling, 24NewsHD TV reported on Monday. 

 In a message posted on his official Twitter account, Naqvi emphasized that both players deserve encouragement during challenging times, rather than being subjected to harsh online criticism.

His remarks came in the backdrop of increased trolling of the two cricketers following their recent performances.

Social media users have been quick to target Salman and Haris, raising questions over their form and role in the national team.

However, the PCB chairman stressed that such negativity not only damages the morale of the players but also affects the overall team environment.
