NDMA releases report on destruction caused by floods in Punjab

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on Monday released a report on the destruction caused by the ongoing floods and monsoon rains in Punjab and other provinces.

Nine deaths and 17 injuries were reported in flood-related incidents on September 1. Seven deaths were reported in Punjab, 1 in Balochistan and 1 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. All 17 injuries reported in Punjab. Seven houses were damaged today while four houses were partially damaged in Punjab and 1 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Two houses were completely damaged in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

A total of 863 deaths have been reported across the country from June 26 to September 1

As many as 1147 people have been injured from June 26 to September 1. A total of 9,166 houses have been damaged across the country since June 26. A total of 6,180 livestock were lost across the country from June 26 to September 1
