Blaze destroys ATM, record, valuable goods at Nawabshah bank

A huge fire that erupted in a private bank located in tehsil Sakrand of Nawabshah district turned an automatic teller machine (ATM), record of the bank and other valuable goods into ashes on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

After receiving the report, a fire brigade team rushed to the spot and started an operation to bring the fire under control.

Sources said that the fire broke out late at night due to a short circuit. 

Earlier in March 2026, Sakrand police responded promptly to a fire that broke out in a local market and successfully controlled the blaze, preventing major loss of life and property. 

On the instructions of the SHO Sakrand Police Station, a police team set an example of dedication by assisting rescue teams in controlling the fire that erupted in the Sakrand market area in district Nawab Shah.
