Punjab Secretariat employees can now apply for passports at workplace

A passport office has been established at the Punjab Civil Secretariat in Lahore, allowing government employees and officers to apply for and obtain their passports without leaving their workplace during office hours, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) already operates an identity card office at the Civil Secretariat.

With the establishment of the new passport office, government employees and officers working at the Punjab Civil Secretariat will now be able to avail passport services conveniently during official working hours.

The initiative is expected to facilitate government employees by providing them access to passport-related services within the Secretariat premises.
