PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif, who is also the opposition leader in the National Assembly, has expressed his gratitude to China over its assistance to Pakistan’s fight against the coronavirus, and said it reflects China’s all-weather friendship.

“I thank Chinese President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Li Keqiang for their continued support to Pakistan against its fight against the coronavirus,” Shehbaz said in a statement on Thursday.

Shehbaz Sharif said that Chinese assistance is crucial to overcome the deadly virus and to save the precious lives of Pakistanis.

“The provision of the protective suits and medical equipment is very critical at this time,” Sharif said and added that “By providing essential equipment like PPI, masks and the other medical equipment, China has truly reflected its all-weather friendship.”
