Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) former ministers Malik Asad Khokhar and Ijaz Masih Saturday announced their support for Hamza Shehbaz in upcoming elections for chief ministership in Punjab.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader and joint candidate of the opposition parties Hamza Shehbaz visited Asad Khokhar at his residence in Lahore on Saturday night.
A special meeting between PTI and the Opposition leaders was held there in which Nazir Chauhan also participated.
After the meeting, Malik Asad Khokhar who was Minister for Housing, Urban Development & Public Health Engineering in the cabinet of former Punjab chief minister Usman Buzdar announced that his group will support the PML-N in the election of chief ministership.
