Govt notifies transfer & posting, extension of Secretary, Ministry of Defence Production

The federal government has notified transfer and posting of key officers on Thursday, reported 24NewsDH TV Channel. 

The appointment of Secretary, Ministry of Defence Production, Lieutenant General (retd) Muhammad Chirag Haider has been extended. The extension is effective from March 5, 2026, until the appointment of a new Secretary. 

Muhammad Ali Randhawa, a Grade 20 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, who was removed from the post of Chief Commissioner and Chairman of the Capital Development Authority yesterday, has been appointed as Director General Passport and Immigration. 

In addition, Joint Secretary Climate Change Division Khalida Bashir has been transferred and appointed as Joint Secretary Poverty Alleviation Division. 

The Establishment Division has issued official notifications of appointments and transfers.
