Transfers, postings, extensions in federal bureaucracy ordered

Orders have been issued for postings, transfers and extension of appointments in the federal bureaucracy, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday. 

According to separate notifications issued by the Establishment Division, the appointment of Secretary, Ministry of Defence Production Lt. Gen. (retd) Muhammad Chirag Haider has been extended. 

The extension is effective from March 5, 2026, until the appointment of a new secretary. 

Meanwhile, Chaudhry Muhammad Ali Randhawa, a grade 20 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, who was removed from the post of Chief Commissioner and Chairman Capital Development Authority yesterday, has been appointed Director General Passport and Immigration. 

In addition, Joint Secretary Climate Change Division Khalida Bashir has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary Poverty Alleviation Division. 

The Establishment Division has issued official notifications for appointments and transfers.
