NCOC imposes countrywide Covid curbs to combat Indian variant
The National Command and Control Operation (NCOC) announced that businesses across the country will be closed two days a week and working hours will be reduced until 8 pm in Lahore, Karachi, Hyderabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Multan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Asad Umar further said that NCOC took all decisions after approval from the Prime Minister Imran Khan. He said these measures were taken to control the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
NCOC also issued guidelines that public transport would be allowed only with 50 percent seating arrangements till August 31st. He said outdoor dining will be allowed till 10pm, however, the takeaway services will be allowed 24/7.
