Imran Khan's all facilities restored in Adiala Jail, new report claims
All facilities for the jailed former prime minister Imran Khan have been restored at Adiala Jail, 24NewsHD TV reported on Saturday quoting sources.
The development comes a day after Imran Khan’s elder sister Aleema Khan announced that his sons Kasim and Suleiman Khan are coming to Pakistan to see by themselves the conditions their father is being kept in Pakistan’s notorious Adiala Jail.
Khan is entitled to some facilities as the former prime minister of Pakistan, but he has been repeatedly complaining in recent months that he was being denied even basic facilities and kept in solitary confinement.
Now sources have been quoted as saying that a one-hour phone meeting between Imran Khan and his sons was arranged on Saturday.
Sources also quoted Khan as saying that he never said that his sons would come to Pakistan to take part in a protest movement.
He said that his sons can come any time to meet him however.
Also, it was reported that Khan only came to know after his meeting with his sons that their National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis has expired.
According to 24NewsHD TV, Imran Khan said that Aleema Khan should not issue political statements. He said that Aleema Khan’s statement on Mashal Yousafzai’s election to the Senate of Pakistan was unwarranted.
Imran Khan is also reported to have said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur should resign if he cannot fix the governing related problems of the province. He reportedly said that Gandapur should give other people a chance if he cannot solve problems of the province.
