Police on Thursday arrested the killers of a 15-year-old boy whose body was recovered from the bank of a canal after a month in Gujranwala, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, Shazil was murdered by his neighbour Atif and his two friends. Atif asked Shazil to go out with him. On the way, Atif’s other two friends also joined them. 

Police said Atif and his friends sexually assaulted the 15-year-old. When Shazil threatened to tell his family about their evil deed, the accused subjected him to torture and killed him. They threw his body near the bank of a canal. 

Police reached the culprits, Atif and his friends Sufyan and Asim, with the help of CCTV footage after a month.

The accused confessed that they had premeditated the rape of the boy and they did not carry their mobile phones with them so that nobody could know about their location. They said they had learned it from TV dramas so they avoided taking their cell phones with them.
