Palestinians homeless at homeland

The media has been abuzz with heartbroken tales of Palestinians since Israel declared war on October 7. Thousands of Palestinians – mostly children and women – embraced martyrdom while Israel's terror strikes left a trail of devastation.

Human rights champions across the world are feeling strong concerns for innocent Palestinians while Israel resumes cruel combat after a temporary truce expires.

The plight of Palestinians came to the spotlight during the seven-day pause when the exchange of detainees took place and the freed Palestinians shared their ordeal.

The international human rights bodies have been raising the demand for a permanent ceasefire and peaceful resolution of the issue.

What I worry about is the future of the innocents.

Will the ceasefire heal the wounds of the Palestinians?

Will it bring back the mother of a child?

Will it be able to have thousands of dashed dreams come true?

Since the onset of the genocide, Palestinians have been searching for a safe place they can call home while they struggle for survival. Moreover, social and mental issues are hitting them hard.

An immediate ceasefire to avert further damage be ensured for a safer and happier Palestine.
