Aseefa Bhutto Zardari rallies for PPP in Khipro

Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, the daughter of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and President Asif Ali Zardari, addressed a large crowd of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) supporters in Khipro, Sindh, on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

She urged the people to vote for the arrow sign, which is the symbol of her brother Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who is contesting for the Prime Minister's seat in the upcoming general elections on February 8.

She said that the PPP has always worked for the rights and welfare of the people of Sindh, especially Sanghar district, where it has built roads, provided gas, and ensured free education and health for all.

She criticized the federal government for depriving Khipro of its due share of gas and vowed to take it back from Islamabad. She also praised the people of Sanghar for liberating the district from the "invaders" in 2013, referring to the rival parties that had challenged the PPP's dominance in the region.

She was accompanied by Shazia Marri, the PPP candidate for NA-209 Sanghar-II, who also addressed the rally and expressed confidence that the arrow sign would emerge victorious on February 8.

She said that under Bilawal's leadership, the PPP would launch more schemes like Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) to empower the poor and marginalized segments of society.

The rally was attended by thousands of PPP workers and supporters who chanted slogans in favor of Bilawal and Aseefa and waved flags and banners bearing their pictures.

The rally was a show of power and popularity of the PPP in Khipro, which is considered a stronghold of the party.
