CDA retrieves 25 acres of Quaid-e-Azam University’s land

In a grand operation against encroachments, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has retrieved 25 acres of the land belonging to the Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

The CDA identified the area with the help of satellite mapping and retrieved the land.

The Authority has also decided to take action against the private use of government land.

The CDA officials have said that action will be taken against all those who built farmhouses and other structures on government land.

Similarly, they said that action will also be taken against those selling the government land through stamp paper.

The officials have informed that three farmhouses, 15 illegally built houses and other structures were demolished.
