The post-mortem report of a mother and her nine-month-old daughter, who died after falling into a sewer in Bhatti Gate, Lahore, confirms that both suffered fatal head and neck injuries, 24NewsHD TV reported on Monday.
According to the report, the mother, Saadia, had severe head wounds, a fractured right shoulder, and multiple injuries on her back.
Her daughter, Rida Fatima, sustained a broken neck.
The examination was conducted by a female doctor, and the report was subsequently sealed.
The incident, which occurred earlier this month, prompted orders for strict action from the Chief Minister of Punjab.
