Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has reiterated resolve to hold anti-inflation march towards Islamabad on March 23, 24NewsHD reported on Sunday.

“The public will march against rampant inflation,” said Fazl who is head of JUI that clinched victory in KP local bodies election.

The people rejected the PTI in local body elections, he said adding that the incompetent government destroyed economy.

It left the people in lurch, he said adding that people find it difficult to make both ends meet.

PDM, a union of opposition parties, has been on a campaign against the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf that claimed to have come into power to eradicate corruption. The government claimed that they (opposition parties) have been opting for such tactics to escape accountability.

Fazl said the PDM will hold the march against the government for its failure to rein in inflation. He alleged that the government is responsible for the political and economic woes.
