MQM’s position regarding demarcation of constituencies has been presented to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), said Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and added whatever decision the ECP takes will be abided by the government, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The CM also informed on Monday that a meeting has been called today under the chairmanship of former president Asif Ali Zardari to discuss the country’s ongoing political as well as economic situation.

All allies including Federal Minister Ayyaz Sadiq will attend the meeting.

“Everyone has the right to express their views. I have not read the statements of Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Sindh Governor,” CM Murad remarked while talking to media outside Sehwan Airport.

He added that our economy is struggling and our import bill has significantly increased, therefore we will need to make tough decisions.

He also told the media that some federal ministers came to Karachi on behalf of the Prime Minister for the meeting and that we consulted our businessmen donors in this regard.

He also stated that Prime Minister has an experienced team which can put the economy on its right track. "We are completely prepared for the assistance that is needed from the provinces in order to improve the economy,” he assured.
