Federal govt changes schedule of promotion meetings for civil and police officers
The federal government has revised the schedule of meetings convened for the promotion of civil and police officers, according to the Establishment Division.
Officials said that the meeting of the Departmental Selection Board (DSB) for promotions from Grade 18 to Grade 19 will now be held on Tuesday, February 3. The meeting was earlier scheduled for January 6, but its date has been changed due to administrative reasons. The DSB meeting will consider cases related to promotions to Grade 19.
Meanwhile, the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting for promotions from Grade 17 to Grade 18 will take place as per the original schedule on January 13.
Both meetings will be chaired by the Secretary Establishment Division. The sessions will review promotion cases of officers belonging to the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS), Police Service of Pakistan (PSP), Office Management Group (OMG), and X-cadre.
The Establishment Division stated that all concerned departments have been informed about the revised schedule.
