Rabada returns as South Africa unveil 15-member squad for T20 World Cup 2026
South Africa have announced a 15-member squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, scheduled to be held in India and Sri Lanka in February, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday.
All-rounder Aiden Markram has been named captain of the South African side for the tournament.
The squad sees the return of fast bowler Kagiso Rabada, who had been sidelined for nearly 10 weeks due to injury but has now recovered and been included for the World Cup.
However, regular member of the national T20 side Tristan Stubbs has failed to secure a place in the World Cup squad, marking a notable omission.
The selected squad includes a mix of experience and youth, with seven players set to feature in a T20 World Cup for the first time.
