An incident of alleged violence by a traffic warden in Rawalpindi against a civilian has surfaced on social media, triggering public concern and outrage, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday.

According to reports, the incident occurred in the Jhanda Chichi area of Rawalpindi.

Eyewitnesses said a traffic warden signaled a young motorcyclist to stop, and the rider complied immediately, bringing his motorcycle to a halt in front of the warden.

However, witnesses alleged that the traffic warden lost his temper and threw a wireless communication set at the motorcyclist, striking him directly. As a result of the impact, the young man sustained serious injuries.

The injured citizen’s video later circulated widely on social media.

The viral footage reportedly shows both the traffic warden and the wounded motorcyclist present at the scene, further fueling criticism over the alleged misconduct.

As of the filing of this report, no official statement had been issued regarding disciplinary action or the launch of an inquiry against the traffic warden.
