The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday granted bail to the arrested police official in the Usama Satti murder case, reported 24News HD TV channel. 

Justice Tariq Mehmood Jhangiri of the IHC ordered the release of Mudassir Mukhtar against surety bonds worth Rs 200000. 

The accused lawyer pleaded to the court that according to the JIT report, his client was not involved in firing on Usama Satti. 

Usama Satti, a university student, had been killed by the police in January 2021 while four policemen allegedly involved in the case were in Adaila jail.
