DIG hints presence of some other armed men at Parade Ground

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Islamabad has issued a security high alert for former premier Imran Khan’s rally after the arrest of a gunman from the Parade Ground on Saturday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Islamabad DIG Operation has hinted at the presence of some other armed men at the place of the public meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Following the sensitivity of the issue, the DIG Operation has instructed all the police officials deputed at the spot to make thorough checking and should not give concession to any person even if someone pretends to be a government employee.
On the other hand, the Inspector General of Islamabad Police (IG) has also directed the DIG Operations to conduct a special check of all vehicles. He instructed that no vehicle should approach the place of public meeting.
Islamabad police have also deployed more female police officials to check on women entering the premises of the PTI's public meeting at the Parade Ground.
