Drone technology will be used to check traffic violations in Islamabad 

Islamabad Traffic Police has decided to use modern drone technology to prevent traffic violations in the federal capital, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

In this regard Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Capt (retd) Zeeshan Haider said that Islamabad Traffic Police will ensure implementation of traffic rules with the help of drone cameras.

He said drone cameras will be flown on busy highways of Islamabad. 

CTO Islamabad said with the help of drone cameras, violations will be identified and challans will be issued immediately. 

Capt (retd) Zeeshan Haider said initially, drone technology will be used on the Expressway and Srinagar Highway. 

In the next phase, the same technology will be used on all sectors and other highways, Syed Zeeshan Haider said.
