PCB chairman thanks event’s sponsors, franchise owners for contributing to its success
Interior Minister and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Syed Mohsin Naqvi said on Wednesday that world-class cricket was witnessed during the last Pakistan Super League (PSL) edition, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing the meeting of the PSL administration and stakeholders in Lahore, he said he was grateful to the franchise owners, sponsors, security institutions and fans, whose efforts made the event a memorable one.
Naqvi expressed the resolve to make the PSL more popular.
Speaking on the occasion, CEO PSL Salman Naseer said that the PSL was not only a sports event, but a celebration.
He further said that the League united fans with each other.
The PSL’s 10-year growth data was presented at the meeting.
The statistics of the ninth and the tenth editions of the PSL were also compared.
