PTI leader Sanam Javed released from Kot Lakhpat Jail

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sanam Javed was released from Kot Lakhpat Jail after being granted bail by the Lahore High Court, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had registered a case against her for allegedly uploading anti-state content. According to officials, Justice Farooq Haider of the Lahore High Court granted her bail on June 30. 

After her release, Sanam Javed left for Peshawar, as confirmed by her father. 

Javed Iqbal Khan stated that she is seeking protective bail in two separate cases registered in Hassan Abdal.
