Speaking on the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi described the agreement as a milestone for the promotion of cricket in Saudi Arabia.
Mohsin Naqvi said the partnership would help strengthen the sport and create lasting links between cricket communities in both countries.
He added that the proposed stadium forms part of Saudi Arabia’s broader sports development agenda under Saudi Vision 2030.
The facility will be designed in accordance with international requirements and will offer modern amenities expected at leading cricket venues.
Officials said the project is expected to play a key role in enhancing Saudi Arabia’s ability to host international cricket competitions and other major sporting events.
