'Lor Lor Ay', Diljit Dosanjh says politics keeping him away from Lahore
Indian actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh has expressed his heartfelt desire to visit Lahore, Pakistan, saying he would love to come but believes the current political climate makes such a trip difficult.
A video of the Punjabi superstar has recently gone viral on social media, in which Diljit candidly speaks about his wish to visit the city while explaining why he feels unable to do so at the moment.
In the clip, Diljit says:
"I want to come to Lahore, but if I do, people will create issues for me when I return. You all know what's going on in the world. It's all about politics, bro. I always stay away from politics because I don't want to be involved in any of it."
He further reflected on how many important decisions are beyond the control of individuals, adding:
"Many things are not in the hands of the people we expect to bring change. We keep asking why they don't change things, but sometimes it's simply not in their control. As for me, I just want to stay away from all of this."
Diljit's remarks quickly gained traction online, with fans from both sides of the border appreciating his candid comments and expressing hope that he would one day be able to visit Lahore.
